GAME PREVIEW: San Diego and San Jose Meet for Final Time This Season (7:05 p.m.)

San Diego enters tonight’s contest with a 35-22-2-2 (74 points) record on the season. San Jose’s current record is 29-23-7-3 with 68 points. The Gulls are currently 7-3-0-1 vs. the Barracuda. The teams met for back-to-backs in San Jose last weekend where they split the series 1-1.

The Gulls blanked in the initial effort, falling to the Barracuda 3-0. San Diego put forth a stronger effort the following day, walking away with a 3-1 victory. Gulls winger Matt Bailey opened scoring and got San Diego on the board early in the first frame. Center Antoine Laganiere netted two goals in the contest to round out scoring for the Gulls.

San Diego goalie, Anton Khudobin, stopped 34 of 35 shots in the contest.
