GAME PREVIEW: The Gulls Face the San Antonio Rampage for the Fourth Time this Season Tonight on the Road (5:00 p.m. PT).

The Gulls (17-16-1-1; 36 points) return to Texas to face the San Antonio Rampage (16-17-7-0; 39 points). San Diego and San Antonio last met on January 3, the second of consecutive games at AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX, where the Gulls rallied back from a 3-0 deficit to claim the 4-3 victory.

San Antonio’s Borna Rendulic, Michael Schumacher and Chris Bigras combined for three goals by the 4:17 mark of the second period.

Center Joseph Cramarossa began the four-goal streak for the Gulls at 10:57 of the second period. Antoine Laganiere followed suit less than four minutes later to cut the deficit to one.

Brandon Montour tied the game just one minute and forty-one seconds into the third period with a power play goal and winger Brian McGrattan redirected a shot by Brandon Montour for the game-winning goal at 17:01 of the final frame.

Gulls goaltender Matt Hackett recorded 20 saves in the matchup.

The Gulls and Rampage will meet three more times in the regular season (including tonight). Tonight’s contest will be held at AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX, and the final two will be at Valley View Casino Center.
