SAN DIEGO – The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled center Chris Wagner from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Wagner, 25 (5/27/91), has scored two goals (2-0=2) with six PIM in 21 games with Anaheim this season. In 73 career NHL games with Anaheim and Colorado, the 6-0, 200-pound center has 6-2=8 points with 36 PIM. Claimed on waivers by Anaheim from Colorado on Feb. 25, 2016, Wagner began his NHL career with the Ducks in 2014-15 prior to being first claimed on waivers by the Avalanche on Nov. 15, 2015.

Selected by Anaheim in the fifth round (122nd overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft, Wagner has collected 47-46=93 points with 228 PIM in 220 career AHL games with Norfolk (2012-15) and San Diego (2015-17). He made his AHL season debut on Nov. 27 at Ontario and went on to record 4-2=6 points with a +1 rating and eight PIM in 11 games with the Gulls.
