DUCKS ASSIGN CENTER DENNIS RASMUSSEN TO SAN DIEGO

The Anaheim Ducks have reassigned center Dennis Rasmussen to the Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Rasmussen, 27 (7/3/90), earned 1-3=4 points with a +4 rating and eight penalty minutes (PIM) in 27 games with the Ducks this season. The 6-3, 192-pound forward made his Anaheim debut on October 5 vs. Arizona, and scored his first goal with the Ducks in a 6-2 victory on October 20 vs. Montreal.

Signed as a free agent on July 7, 2017, Rasmussen has collected 9-12=21 points with a +9 rating and 24 PIM in 139 career NHL games with Anaheim and Chicago. He has also appeared in 98 career AHL games with Rockford, registering 20-23=43 points with a +8 rating and 48 PIM.
