SAN DIEGO LOOKS TO STAY HOT VS. SAN ANTONIO

February 26, 2016

GAME PREVIEW: The Gulls Look to Continue Winning Streak vs. Rampage (7:05 p.m. PT).

The Gulls (25-20-1-2; 53 points) return to home ice to face the San Antonio Rampage (23-24-8-0; 54 points). San Diego has been victorious in all four matchups with San Antonio so far this season. The Gulls and Rampage last met on January 19, a contest resulting in a 2-1 Gulls win.

In the matchup, both teams remained scoreless through the opening frame until Zac Larraza put the Gulls up by one at 3:27 of the second period. Kenny Ryan stretched the lead to two after netting a penalty shot 10 minutes later.

Rampage winger Alex Belzile brought San Antonio back within one with a goal at 18:43 of the final frame, but it was too little too late for the comeback.

The Gulls and Rampage will meet just two more times in the regular season (including tonight). Both contests will be held at Valley View Casino Center.
