The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has entered into a partnership with UberEATS and Levy Restaurants to bring Gulls fans an exclusive in-arena concessions delivery experience at remaining home games for the 2016-17 season. UberEATS is now the official food delivery partner of the San Diego Gulls, and this groundbreaking partnership is the first of its kind involving a professional sports team and a facility concessionaire to provide in-seat wait service facilitated by an on-demand food delivery app service provider.
“We are thrilled to partner with Uber Eats on this groundbreaking opportunity,” said Gulls President of Business Operations Matt Savant. “We are proud to be the first professional sports franchise to offer UberEATS technology in arena. This new interactive technology will give Gulls fans a look at the future of in-arena dinning, and we are proud to be the first team to offer this experience to our fans in San Diego.”
Gulls fans can now have the ability to have concessions at Valley View Casino Center delivered directly to their seat via the UberEATS app from participating concessions that include Cali Comfort BBQ, Rockin’ Baja Lobster, Pizza Port, Loaded Dogs and General Concessions.
“Gulls fans can now experience the same convenient, fast, and reliable experience at the stadium as they do from the comfort of their own home thanks to this innovative new partnership. UberEATS is proud to partner with the Levy Restaurant Group and the Gulls,” said Ben Story, UberEATS General Manager for San Diego.
To enjoy in-seat delivery, fans at Gulls games can download the UberEATS app, confirm their location, select “In-Arena Delivery” and enter their section, row and seat number into the delivery notes. For a limited time, in-seat delivery is free via the UberEATS app and Gulls fans can use the promotion code LETSGOGULLS for $10 off their first UberEATS order.
