Kevin Boyle's glorious glove stop against the Ontario Reign is our inaugural Play of the Year Tournament champion, taking down Anthony Stolarz's two strong saves. The Gulls netminder took down some impressive competitors in the process, eliminating some the top plays from the tournament on its way to the title.

FINAL FOUR RESULTS

  • Kevin Boyle's glorious glove save continued its Cinderella run, moving on to the Championship Round.
  • Anthony Stolarz's two big saves continued its surprising tournament run, upending Kiefer Sherwood's hat-trick tally to move to the Championship Round.

SECOND ROUND RESULTS:

  • In a stunning upset, Kevin Boyle's glorious glove save (#10) took down our top seed, Sam Carrick's hat-trick goal.
  • The tournament's second seed, Kiefer Sherwood's hat-trick tally, defeated Isac Lundestrom's one-time tally.
  • Jacob Larsson's overtime winner against Colorado (#4) edged out Kiefer Sherwood's shorthanded tally.
  • Anthony Stolarz's two big saves (#14) pulled off its second upset of the tournament, taking down Sam Carrick's dipsy-doo tally.

FIRST ROUND RESULTS:

  • Sam Carrick's hat-trick goal (#1) defeated Troy Terry's game-winning goal in Bakersfield.
  • Kiefer Sherwood's hat trick goal (#2) defeated Daniel Sprong's slick score against Grand Rapids.
  • In our first upset of the tournament, Anthony Stolarz's two strong saves (#14) defeated Josh Mahura's wild overtime goal.
  • Jacob Larsson's game-winning, overtime tally (#4) defeated Max Comtois' tic-tac-toe goal.
  • Kiefer Sherwood's shorthanded special (#5) edged out Isac Lundestrom's deke against the San Jose Barracuda.
  • In our second upset of the first round, Sam Carrick's dipsy-doo tally against Tucson (#11) took down the higher-ranked Alex Broadhurst shorthanded special.
  • In the third upset of the first round, Isac Lundestrom's one-time tally (#10) upended Justin Kloos' bar-down beauty.
  • Kevin Boyle's glorious glove save (#8) closed out the first round with a win over Alex Broadhurst's tic-tac-goal.
