With the 10th overall selection and Boston’s first-round pick (acquired Mar. 19), the Ducks enter the 2022 NHL Draft with multiple first-round picks in three of the previous four drafts (2019, 2020, 2022), following last year’s selection of Mason McTavish (third overall), in addition to 2020 selections Jamie Drysdale (sixth overall) and Jacob Perreault (27th overall), and 2019 picks Trevor Zegras (ninth overall) and Brayden Tracey (29th overall).

Anaheim has made 33 selections in the first round in franchise history, with each of the last 17 choices (since 2009) making their NHL debut with the Ducks. Of Anaheim’s 33 all-time first-round picks, 31 have appeared in the NHL (30 with the Ducks).
