Ducks Recall Kossila, Assign Lundestrom to San Diego
Nov 12, 2018The Anaheim Ducks have recalled center Kalle Kossila from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). In addition, Anaheim has assigned center Isac Lundestrom to San Diego.
Kossila, 25 (4/14/93), has earned 1-1=2 points in 12 career NHL games with Anaheim. Kossila made his NHL season debut on Nov. 1 vs. the New York Rangers, going scoreless in 11:22 time-on-ice (TOI). The 5-10, 185-pound center has 3-4=7 points in six games with the Gulls this season, Kossila has earned 40-73=113 points with a +16 rating in 132 career AHL games.
Lundestrom, 19 (11/6/99), began the 2018-19 season with the Ducks, collecting 0-2=2 points in 15 games. Selected by Anaheim in the first round (23rd overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft, Lundestrom earned his first career point (assist), Oct. 13 at Dallas.
